Palmorganized @ Wordpress.com
Hello, one and all. Big plans are in store. Thank you for keeping me in your rss feeds and bookmarks. If you are reading this then you know I have made the transition to Wordpress.com. This move will help to automate things I was too busy to manage. I will slowly be restoring this site so bear with my original green template. There is so much that has happened since my last post and so much I have discovered.
There will be a new automated way to download my Bonsai GTD Template Zip or PDB file coming very soon. Feel free to leave a comment in the mean time requesting it if you can’t wait. I still have a Palm but now I have an iPhone as well and boy do I have things to share including brand new original content in the Bonsai GTD Template vein but this time for the iPhone. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned.
The X Man.
iPhonedYou.com Hello World! via ibloggin.com

I created my own blog under the domain iphonedyou.com using ibloggin.com It’s so simple and is a great start for you or I. The video speaks for itself. All done within
an half an hour including forwarding my domain name. If you create a site send me a comment with a link to your blog down below.
A perfect place for my X files. File drawer.
Here is a nice intuitive little program I found on the site for NS Basic (a palm development platform). It was one of the apps featured to show you what is possible using it as a development environment. I really like it. Anything that put any kind of alphabet structure on the Palm is good in my book. It fills a missing gap in my opinion when it comes to searching on the Palm. I absolutely adore the Quick look up feature in Contacts. This program as you can see allows you to organize all your memos through alpha tabs. Scroll through or tap a letter and all memos whose title start with that letter are listed right there for you. Better than graffiti look up, palm find or sometimes even categories. Now if only someone could duplicate Palm’s Quick Look Up feature in their application. If you don’t know what I am taking about check out my comparison blog post between it and the iPhone’s interface. Click here to find out about File Drawer
Palm focuses on what’s at hand now.
I think the answer is “Yes” as far as Palm is concerned. I was expectant as anyone about the new product at All Things D, but when it wasn’t a new Palm smart phone I wondered how they were able to spend resources on anything else. I think now we all realize they were not able to do so without compromising something. I am relieved to know that this move (as costly as it is) displays a committed intention to focus on what’s important and what is at hand which I say is the smart phone/ handheld PDA.
Palm (Organized.com) GTD Project Invite.
I am pushing the envelope and starting to involve other people now. I have gotten much busier in recent times and have worked on several other projects, so why create another one? This one will actually help you and I “Get Things Done” on a whole other level. A level that could not happen left to my own devices. I am looking for only a few people to test this new system out and gather some valuable feedback. Hopefully while we are engaged in this project we’ll be able to get things done. Just send me an email if you’re interested and I will get back to you on what’s involved in a little while and pick a few of you to begin working with. This project will probably last about a month.
If you are familiar with GTD Bonsai even better. It would also be useful if you have things to get done want to authentically implement GTD and not just tweak your system. Again, if you are familiar with my system, have a sense of humor and can keep this project between us you just may fit the bill. Just send me an email at Palmorganizedatyahoo.com and tell me a little about yourself. Till then best wishes.
GTD Bonsai 2.0 App List
Here is the application list for the stylus-free use of GTD on the Palm. Let’s start with text entry PKWrite Rapid Text Entry. This program is a DA (Desk Accessory). In laymen’s terms this means you’ll need another program to be able to run it (a DA Launcher). There is a free one called (you guessed it) DA Launcher at Freeware Palm. While you are there you can pick up PKWrite as well.
Center Menu- is the program that gives you a center select key (stylus-free) access to all your menus in any program. You can also find this at freeware palm and avoid giving Palmgear your email. Just click here..
EasyLaunch5 - is not free. However, it is worth the price. You can do almost anything with a swipe, graffiti stroke or hard key press with this very versatile program. This one you can pick up at Handango or Palmgear. Here is the link to it at handango. Just click here.
