It is not often I see software by Palm on Palmgear but this one caught my eye. It just got updated. I’m not sure what the update provides as there is no read me file in the download. There are glowing reviews over at the software section for Palm though. Supposedly there is no training needed. You can initiate calls just as you would be able to talk to your secretary or personal assistant (”Call Bob Rogers at home”). You can even dial by voice. The other features include initiating email, sms, and applications. This is the kind of software that makes you believe a treo sans keyboard could actually become a possibility. I know it doesn’t help in typing the actual content but now that we have a Foleo maybe a virtual area on a Treo is not so bad after all.
Good Morning, Good Afternoon, or Good Evening. How is the weather in your part of the world? If you have a Treo and Treo Weather (new beta Palm software) from the GX5 guys that will no longer be a mystery. This program is as hot as a Honolulu sun. It is currently in Beta so the the price is right. It is just 4.95 and for a Palm program of this caliber that is practically a steal. I will soon be testing this out myself but I recommend that you check out the video by Palmaddict that walks through and reviews this amazing piece of software. The guys at GX5 are the future of Palm Program development. Click here to check out their site and other offering. Click here to view the video. Besides getting information on the program from the video, if you live in New York you will also get the forecast for this week to boot!

Dreams can come true. As I blog away in my own little space in the big blog universe I realized that if I am going to write about Palms I should include their latest devices in my focus area. I have a nostalgic love for the big screen which is satisfied with my Zire 72 and Palm TX. What is missing is the whole Treo experience which adds the huge benefit of being a convergence device. I wasn’t sure if this is something I wanted to commit to either, given how I did not want to go smaller in screen real estate. I thought to myself maybe my little Palm Organized site could get help from the big Palm. Well, guess what? It arrived today in a Fed Ex Box. A Treo 680 review unit. I have 30 days to use the Treo and share my experiences with you about this amazing device.
