SplashID 4 - Palm Master App Upgrade

Splash ID 4SplashID 4 is here! This is a program I featured as a Palm Master App in a previous blog post - click here. This version adds a list of new features which I will list later on in this post. My favorite is the web auto-fill. This is a feature that was available in Turbo Passwords early on. I had emailed Splash ID to say what’s up and they said they had planned to release this as well. Web Auto-Fill eliminates that annoying practice of having to type in your username and password every time you want to log on to a site. I can’t tell you how much of a time saver this is for all the accounts I have online whether it is Amazon, Ebay, or any of my blog sites. Also worth a mention is the lockout feature on the Palm. If your Palm is lost or stolen an intruder will only have 10 goes at cracking your password before the system locks out completely. Click the Pic to go to Splash ID’s Page for more info. The following is a list of new features.

PMA - Passwords Organized with Splash ID

Splash IDSplashdata.com has a whole cadre of Palm apps. It could even be like a Natara.com but they only have one application that hits it out of the park for me and that is Splash ID. I used to deal with writing down passwords on slips of paper or opening notepad to log this info. I look back embarrassed to think I handled passwords any other way than with Splash ID. I no longer have to go searching for emails for account & password info or clicking that dreaded “forgot password” link. The worst part of this is having that link “reset” your password because now you know for sure you won’t be able to remember it next time. How many people use the same password for all your accounts? Please raise your hand. Oh my gosh! Want to read something scary. Click here and then close the browser to come back to here to continue after reading.
