Some of you may doubt this is even remotely possible but I would say it is possible, but only remotely. What you are seeing is a way to use your TX to control itunes remotely on your desktop or laptop. You may need to find someone to help you pick your jaw off the floor before I continue, but yes what I am saying is not only possible, but can be done by one such as yourself with mouth wide open.
I am good but I am not that good. This remarkable hack was developed by some guy named Jeff over at Idealog. You can go directly to the link on how this is done by clicking here. Enjoy and have a wonderful day.
This is one for those Bonsai Users who prefer an alternative to exporting your Bonsai items to the built-in To Do/Task program or Daynotez. So here is what I visualized. I wanted to be able to track how many next action items I completed per hour each day. This would mean that I could go back to 2 months from now and find out what I had accomplished on that date between the hours of 2pm - 3pm. Way cool! How do I know on that day that those Bonsai items were completed between the hours of 2pm-3pm if there are no fields for time in To Do Plus or Bonsai?

Some of you wish that Palm would come up with something to compete with the Iphone and some people have rushed something into production. The only thing about it is that it looks exactly like the Iphone. It is a skin that acts as a launcher for your Palm apps. I have seen the writing on the wall and it says if I want to talk with Apple Lawyers all I have to do is post a picture of it here. However, any advertisement for Apple’s upcoming product serves as a very good representation of what your Palm would look like minus the hardware specific inards and outards. One blogger was threatened with court action just for listing the picture which ironically looks almost exactly like the picture I have here if you zoom in to just the interface. I wonder if I could get sued just for saying this. If this was the case it would almost seem that if you have enough money you can control freedom of speech or freedom of speech about image. If you do a search for Iphony I am sure you’ll find the same info I did. What I will do is provide a link to the Brighthand Forum explaining why they had to take down their image and the software used to duplicate the look of the Iphone on your Palm. Click here
I always wanted a Palm UMPC but the Palm OS doesn’t run on devices with larger screens unless something like Keylink works for you. In that case, you may find yourself tethered to an umbilical palm. I tried so many things to see if I could make this happen and then I came up with an alternate best solution, which turned out to be very inexpensive. What you see in today’s blog pic is what they call a magnifier. Look ma, no hands! I looked at & researched several but this one was the best. It includes an adjustable neck strap and nice rubber feet.

If you don’t understand the heading that’s fine. It is a play on words using Palm OS terminology for its navigation features. Newer palms, in particular the TX, have this feature called “Control Navigation,” which basically means you can move a blue border framed box around your screen to access various parts of your screen like drop down menus, toolbars, buttons (Okay, Done, Cancel, etc). The idea is that, just like using your stylus to activate your different menu headings, you should be able to access different parts of your screen with the 5 way navigator and eliminate the need for stylus tapping.
