Palm has a new Portal for Treo Users

Friday, May 11, 2007News & Info, Palm Inc

Palm’s My Palm LogoPalm has released a web portal for its Treo mobile users. If you are a Treo owner you’re in luck. Some of the services include free 24/7 members-only phone support, direct notification of updates and new software, insider tips and how to’s, and a personal Palm account and home page. I think this is a major step in the right direction although I wish they could have extended this to traditional Palm Users and not just Treo users. There are still some of us out there. This site seems to be geared to the cellular mobile customer and would seem to tie in into a great way to get a customer demographic for these services and provide a store for a targeted market. There is a link for other devices but you are taken to the product page for your particular device on Palm.com. MyPalm beta is not a bad name but you’d think there would be an easily accessible url. I have not seen one yet from the articles on it that I have viewed. Click here to visit

I couldn’t find a link to the actual site anywhere in this post. Kind of annoying…I had to google it, and found the link on a PalmInfoCenter post about the new service.
