Palm Master App Week - Audacity DVR
Palm Organized Palm Master App is really a Palm Killer App. This Palm Program is one of those crossover applications that work with both the traditional handheld PDAs and the ever present Treos. The only thing your device needs though is a voice recorder. So we are talking about pratically the whole T series, Zire 72, Lifedrive, TX with the hack, and the treo series. I want to take a large part of this post to simply say just like those people in the commercial for that product Head on. I don’t like your site and marketing but I absolutely love your product. You’ll find a whole bunch of glowing reviews on Palmgear.
However, I’ll never forget when I called for some technical support. I complimented them on their program and the person (sounding like the creator) said something to the effect of “Well, why don’t you buy it.” I took this in the best way possible. This “engineer” busted his ass creating a great program and people weren’t giving it the kind of financial attention it deserves. When I called I happen to represent all those ignorant to the brilliance of this program that his site did a bad job of explaining. It reminded me of that whole social divide between tech support and the customers they “support.” This program is so great that I will be spending this entire week the next 4-5 days on this one amazing Palm Master App because its feature set is so robust. There is no way I could do it justice with just one blog post. Stay tuned.

I looked at this program last year and thought it was decent. However at $30 for the personal version and $99 for the pro one, it just was way out of line with PDA application pricing. Especially compared to the free SoundRec as well as other lower priced rivals. I’m not saying that Audicity isn’t a technical masterpiece, but come one, look at TCMP/CorePlay which is equally as technically complicated.
