PMA - Passwords Organized with Splash ID
Splashdata.com has a whole cadre of Palm apps. It could even be like a Natara.com but they only have one application that hits it out of the park for me and that is Splash ID. I used to deal with writing down passwords on slips of paper or opening notepad to log this info. I look back embarrassed to think I handled passwords any other way than with Splash ID. I no longer have to go searching for emails for account & password info or clicking that dreaded “forgot password” link. The worst part of this is having that link “reset” your password because now you know for sure you won’t be able to remember it next time. How many people use the same password for all your accounts? Please raise your hand. Oh my gosh! Want to read something scary. Click here and then close the browser to come back to here to continue after reading.
.
Welcome back! One of the things that consoles my paranoid mind is the password generator. Splash ID will generate a upper/lower case letter and number password. Another feature I really like as well is the one button click copy to clipboard for pasting info into forms when you sign in to your favorite online accounts.
The organizational tip I will slip in here is that Splash ID is perfect for online bill payment. You can create 2 level categorization of accounts. This allows you to filter for a set of bills with all the sign in information. Each account record has a text area were you can keep a record of your payments and useful notes. Custom fields allow you to create your own fields. The program already comes with a bunch of templates for most types of accounts. Anyway, sitting at my desk I can go through each password account click on the home address of each bill site from there, get in, make a payment and record the details in no time flat.

This program allows you to remember only one password in the best way possible because instead of using one password for all your Log ins you would use one password for Splash ID to find all your custom passwords. Your info is safeguarded with 256 bit blowfish encryption security. If you have not resolved this open loop for your self then you owe it to yourself to get this now.
Click here to get it at Handango. Any purchase there gives Palm Organized a little percentage love on each sale so if you wanted to get this anyway or “should” get this anyway you can now save 2 birds without throwing a stone (possible 2 minute rule opportunity)
Thank you.

Splash ID has saved my bacon more times than I can count. The desktop interface is great, too - should the worst happen (loss or theft or untimely demise of my T5), I still have the data in an accessible format on my PC.
PS
Splash Money also rocks - especially with its time-saving ability to schedule transactions!

I agree. I’ve been using SplashID on my Palm and Desktop for 3 years now. I keep a shortcut to it on my taskbar and use it when ordering online or logging in to websites. I even store my software reg codes and serial numbers. It’s all in one place and mobile with my Palm.

Great recommendations, Greenman.
I think we all must have collected a total of 6 cents from your 2 cents here and there. You are right. You are cheapskate especially for somebody called The Greenman.

I think SplashID rocks, too!!
But Adarian Money (http://www.adarian.com/) is the most powerful personal financial software. I’ve tried SplashMoney, PMTxl, Ultrasoft Money, and the Adarian Money is the best. Worth a try.
I think Bonsai, DayNotez, DateBK6, SplashID & AdarianMoney are my must-have in my TX. These softwares are the reasons i use Palm.

You are right on the money when it comes to Adarian, Randy. Most people will go Adrian who? However, it is in a league all by itself. The guys at Adarian deserve to be rewarded with as many customers as any Quicken or Microsoft Money compatible app out there.
They are currently working on a 4.0 beta so they are certainly not just satisfied with just being good enough.
