Diddlebug, your digital Post it Note extraordinaire

Diddlebug Digital PadDiddlebug is one of the best freeware apps for Palm ever. Yes, I concur with Chris the Greenman who commented about it here. I also got his suggestion to focus more on the productivity and less on the filler news items. His audio comment regarding this is in my community section. I thought to myself what a wonderful combination since he has already assisted in providing a perfect candidate for a productivity post. Diddlebug serves as a digital notepad in that you can use your stylus to write quick notes using digital ink. You can even set alarms for them which makes this very flexible in the many different ways you can use it. You can use it as a cooking timer, appointment reminder, contact info collector, or anything you would use a notepad for. The alarms can be countdown, repeat, or specific. Diddlebug makes a perfect collection bucket.

There is even something playfully called the “Intellibooger System” which will allow you to pick and flick your information to other applications including the native contact, to do, and calendar apps. What is this system? A line is provided at the bottom of the screen for you to input text for what you just hand wrote. This text version is now perfect for sending to other applications as new entries hence the term pick and flick. The most amazing thing about this program is that it is free! So thank you Greenman for putting your 2 cents in. I think you make a good point. What I will make sure to do is have at least one productivity post for any Palm News-like related material. Now I wonder, if everyone who uses this site gave me their 2 cents (like Chris did) how much money would I have?

Hey Fox, I’m glad to see the comment was received in the spirit it was given in.

Does Diddlebug work in a Treo 700p?

Any conflicts with DB6 or any of the Natrina programs?

    Hello Bob,

I don’t have a 700p but on cursory glance it seems like it does

I don’t use DB6 either and don’t know off hand but I would try posting a question over at Natara Forums about this. I didn’t pull up anything on a search of it under the Palm section.
