For whom does the bell toll…
The bell tolls for thee. This is almost a follow up post for the one yesterday. If you decide to archive your tasks by the hour you can use this program to alert you to those hourly intervals. This little program allows you to set hourly alerts for the hours you choose during the day. The bells can be set to ring once for each hour or ring for the same number that are in the current hour. The really great thing about this program (besides being free) is that the sounds are like real clock tower bells. According to the developer they are real bell rings recorded & digitized.
Like I said earlier, this program would make a great companion for the To Do Plus Archiving hack for cataloging your tasks/next actions by hour. It is a straight forward simple program to use and even if you don’t use it for tracking your hours by tasks it makes a great replacement for the hourly chime on your watch. The developer is French so don’t get concerned if you see French directions. You can get English directions just by going to the options menu. The program is free and you can get it at this great Palm freeware site. Click here to go there. Enjoy.
